Terms of Service

Clear expectations make tech help easier.

What we provide

Mesquite Tech Help provides everyday technology setup, troubleshooting, and education for devices such as phones, tablets, computers, Wi-Fi equipment, printers, TVs, and smart-home devices. We will be honest when a problem is outside our experience or requires a different specialist.

Services do not include physical repair of broken devices, such as cracked screens, damaged charging ports, water damage, or component replacement.

Technology can fail for many reasons, so we cannot promise that every device, account, connection, or problem can be resolved.

Quotes and payment

We accept cash, card, or check. We will explain the expected price before paid work begins. If the problem turns out to require materially different work, we will discuss the change before continuing. Any deposit or cancellation charge that applies will be disclosed before you agree to the appointment.

Permission to work on devices

By asking us to work on a device, network, account, or other technology, you confirm that you own it or have permission from the owner to authorize the requested work. You agree to provide reasonable access needed to perform the service.

Passwords and sensitive accounts

Do not send passwords, security codes, banking information, investment or crypto credentials, medical-account information, or other sensitive credentials through the website. When sensitive sign-in information is required during a visit, you should enter it yourself.

Mesquite Tech Help provides ordinary technology support and education. We do not provide financial, medical, legal, investment, or cybersecurity advice, and we do not manage financial accounts or move money on a customer's behalf.

Backups and existing problems

Please back up important photos, documents, and other data before service whenever reasonably possible. We will use reasonable care, but devices and software can have pre-existing failures, corrupted data, malware, hardware defects, or other conditions that are outside our control. We cannot guarantee against data loss or failure of third-party hardware, software, networks, or services.

Safe in-home visits

The service location must provide a reasonably safe environment and lawful access to the technology involved. We may decline or stop work that appears unsafe, unlawful, outside the agreed scope, or likely to cause damage.

Third-party products and services

Recommendations about apps, devices, internet providers, software, or other third-party products are made in good faith, but those products are controlled by their own providers and may change, fail, charge fees, or have separate terms and privacy practices.

Responsibility

Mesquite Tech Help will use reasonable care in providing services. To the extent permitted by law, Lean Ice LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by pre-existing device conditions, customer instructions, third-party products or services, outages, malware, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

Arizona law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows. The current version and effective date will always be posted here. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
